No. Perly has no field for API keys, no exchange connection, and no way to trade or move funds. You enter transactions yourself, or import them from a CSV export you download from your exchange.
No. Perly never asks for a seed phrase, a private key, or a wallet connection. There is nowhere in the system for them to live, which is the point: what we do not hold, nobody can take from us.
Your account — an email, and a password kept as a hash unless you sign in with Google or X — the records you create, and what you switch on: alerts, DCA plans, watched addresses and notification channels. The Privacy Policy lists all of it. Nothing is sold, shared with advertisers, or used to train anything.
You. Row-level security is enabled and forced on every user-owned table in the database, so a query made from any other account returns nothing at all — not an error, nothing.
Under Average Cost Basis. Every BUY adds quantity times price plus fee to your cost basis; the average cost is total basis over total quantity. A SELL realizes the difference between net sale value and the average cost of what was sold. Everything is recomputed from your full history on every edit, including backdated ones.
Yes — export a CSV from your exchange and import it. Columns are detected, duplicates are flagged and left unticked, and nothing is written until you confirm it.
In transit and at rest, and isolated per-account by forced row-level security. Your portfolios can also be encrypted in your own browser, all of them at once, with a key only you hold: their amounts, prices, fees, notes and tags then reach our servers only as ciphertext we cannot open. What stays readable, and why, is in the Privacy Policy.
Yes. Deleting a transaction, a portfolio or your whole account — Settings → Delete account — removes the data permanently. There is no soft-delete archive of your ledger. Messages already delivered to a Telegram chat stay in that chat.
No. Perly computes figures from what you typed in. Nothing it shows is investment, tax, or legal advice, and it cannot verify your entries against any exchange.
Bitcoin first, and other coins too. Perly is built around Bitcoin, and it also tracks Ethereum, stablecoins and nearly two hundred of the biggest coins — each with its own cost basis and PnL. A coin bought with bitcoin is counted in bitcoin. A coin outside that list is turned away at import rather than priced wrong.
