Pricing

The charts are free

Every feed, every chart and every history on the market page is free, and none of it asks for an account. Market data should be: a number that says what the world costs is not a thing to put behind a till. Nothing there is sampled, delayed or held back for paying accounts, and nothing on the rest of this page applies to it.

What is priced here is the application — the private ledger: your portfolios, your cost basis, your transactions. It is sold as a club of twenty-one thousand seats. A seat is bought once and does not expire. There are four cohorts, each ten times larger than the one before it and twice the price — so the earlier you arrive the less you pay, and what you pay never changes afterwards. Beside the seats there is a yearly subscription, and when the last seat goes it is the only way in.

The club has not opened yet. This page is the ladder as it will stand, published before the first seat is sold rather than after — a price nobody can check in advance is not a price, it is an announcement.

The ladder

Paid once. The cohort you join is the price you keep.

Founders

$21 · 21 seats · seats 1–21

Sold by hand, in conversation rather than through a form. These are the people who vouch for the club afterwards.

Early

$42 · 210 seats · seats 22–231

The first cohort anyone can buy into, and still small enough that the seat number means something.

Open

$105 · 2,100 seats · seats 232–2,331

Where the club stops being an inner circle and starts being a product.

Club

$210 · 18,669 seats · seats 2,332–21,000

The last cohort, and ninety per cent of the seats. When its final seat goes, no seat is ever sold again.

A cohort closes when its seats are sold, not when a clock runs out. One that nobody buys stays open at its price for as long as that takes.

21,000 seats in all, and never one more.

Twenty-one thousand sats

At a Bitcoin price of $100,000, a founder seat costs exactly 21,000 sats. The number of cohorts, the size of the club and the price of the first ticket all land on the same number.

After the last seat

The subscription is on offer beside the seats from the first day, and it outlives them: when the last seat is gone it is the only way in, at the price it has today. A subscriber can still buy a seat while seats remain — the time paid for and not yet used comes off its price.

$7 a month, paid yearly

One payment of $84 a year, on every rail.

Why that number

It is what running Perly costs, with room left to keep building it. A year of subscription pays for the servers and the backups, for market data licensed for a product that charges, and for the network fees and taxes every payment carries — set so that each subscriber covers their own share rather than being carried by the next one. Against a seat it is plain arithmetic: the last seat costs 2.5 years of subscribing, paid once, so a club member is ahead from year 3.

$210 ÷ $84 = 2.5

2 × $84 = $168 < $210

3 × $84 = $252 > $210

The two are priced against each other on purpose: long enough that subscribing is a real choice, short enough that a seat is plainly the one to keep.

Crypto only

There are no cards. Dropping them drops the merchant of record with them, and with it the tax registrations across dozens of jurisdictions, the verification onboarding, the chargebacks and the four per cent. The price shown is the price charged.

Bitcoin

On-chain, to an address made for your invoice. One network fee, once a year at most.

USDC or USDT on EVM networks

Base, Arbitrum, Polygon, Optimism, Avalanche, BNB Chain or Ethereum — one address of your own, the same on every one of them.

USDC or USDT on Solana

From any Solana wallet, for a fraction of a cent.

One invoice a year, and no card left on file. Nothing renews itself, nothing is taken unless you start it, and there is no stored payment method for anyone to lose.

The price you were shown is the price you pay

Prices are set in dollars. A stablecoin pays them dollar for dollar; bitcoin is priced at the rate of the moment, held for thirty minutes while you pay. Your payments page keeps both the dollar price and the transaction that paid it.

Your price does not move

A subscription inherits the club's own rule: your cohort is your price. Whoever subscribes at one price pays it for as long as they do not stop, and indexation reaches new subscribers only. The side effect is worth saying plainly, because it cuts both ways — stopping gives up the old price for good.

14 days first

A trial is a subscription that cost nothing: the same access, the same expiry, the same screen at the end. The demo portfolio fills every chart with eighteen months of history in one click, so 14 days is long enough to judge the product before entering a single transaction of your own.

What money buys, and what it does not

Two things are easy to run together. Access is whether you are inside the application at all, and it is bought — by a seat or by a subscription, there is no third way. Portfolio slots are a separate axis entirely: they are earned by inviting people, and a seat does not grant them. A member and a subscriber both start with one portfolio and widen it the same way.

Four states, and what each one gives you in the application

Trial
Everything, for 14 days.
Subscriber
Everything, while the year runs.
Club member
Everything. No expiry — that is the point of a seat.
Expired
Reading and export, for as long as the account exists.

Expiry never takes your data

Access to the application stops; your data never does. An expired account still reads and still exports — it only cannot add anything new. Taking reading away would make “your records are yours” false at precisely the moment somebody tests it. Paying restores writing at once.

A payment goes one way

There are no refunds. A payment moves in one direction: once it arrives, it is not sent back — there is no card network to reverse it and no chargeback to ask for. What stands in a refund's place is the 14 free days: the deciding happens before the money does. Nothing renews by itself either, so there is never a payment you did not start.

What “forever” means

Access to the application lasts as long as Perly runs. If Perly ever stops, the last release is opened under a free licence and a full export of your data is guaranteed — that export already works today. Three sentences, published before the first seat is sold, because a promise this size should be checkable rather than implied.

Both begin with a free account. A seat belongs to a person, so there is nobody to sell one to until there is an account to attach it to — and nothing is charged until you choose it inside the app.

Already have an account? Sign in

How many seats are gone, and which cohort is open today, is shown in the app — one counter, in one place, so the two can never disagree.
